Rain plagues district baseball tournaments

Dates and times for district baseball tournaments were shuffled around following Monday's rain.

The Jefferson City Jays are scheduled to play Sedalia-Smith-Cotton at 7 p.m. tonight in the Class 5 District 9 semifinals at Battle.

The championship game is set for 5 p.m. Wednesday.

In the Class 4 District 10 tournament at School of the Osage, Helias will play Southern Boone at 6:30 p.m. today with the title game moved to 2 p.m. Wednesday.

The Blair Oaks Falcons will attempt to get their Class 3 District 9 semifinal game against Dixon in at 4 p.m. today at Cuba.

Fatima is scheduled to face Cuba at 6:30 p.m. today in the second semifinal.

The title game was moved to 6 p.m. Wednesday.

In Warsaw, the semifinal games for the Class 3 District 13 tournament were rescheduled for 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Versailles and California face off in the second semifinal game with the winner advancing to Thursday's title game, which is set for 5 p.m.

The Class 2 District 8 tournament at New Bloomfield had its schedule pushed back a day, with the New Bloomfield-Russellville semifinal scheduled for 4:30 p.m. today and the Linn-Vienna game set for 7 p.m. today.

The title game is scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Jamestown and Bunceton are set to play at 5 p.m. today in the Class 1 District 9 semifinals at St. Elizabeth.

The host Hornets will play Tuscumbia at 7:30 p.m. in the second semifinal with the title game being scheduled for 5 p.m. Wednesday.
