NEW BLOOMFIELD - The New Bloomfield Lady Wildcats won the scoring battle 22-3 in the second quarter Monday en route to a 59-33 win against the Russellville Lady Indians in Show-Me Conference play.
New Bloomfield had a slim 10-9 lead after one quarter, then stretchd it to 32-12 at halftime. The Lady Wildcats continued to add to their lead, which was 48-23 after three quarters.
Madi Craighead led New Bloomfield with 21 points.
Ally Harris had a team-high eight points for Russellville.
New Bloomfield (5-1) will host Chamois on Thursday. Russellville (5-3) will play today at Crocker.
In the JV game that consisted of two quarters, New Bloomfield won 20-19 in overtime. Katie Kelley led New Bloomfield with 16 points, while Lindsey Brandt and Mattie Weber each had eight points for Russellville.
