Women's Basketball: Anderson scored 22 points for Sycamores

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Indiana State sophomore guard Caitlin Anderson finished with a team-high 22 points Friday in the Sycamores' 84-69 loss to Southern Illinois.

Anderson (Jefferson City High School) shot 8-of-11 from the floor and 6-of-8 from the free-throw line. She also finished with five assists, three rebounds and two steals.

In 15 games played this season, Anderson leads the Sycamores with 9.9 points per game. She is second on the team with 32 assists and 24 steals.

Anderson also scored 11 points in Saturday's 76-52 loss to the Salukis. It was her fifth straight game in double figures.

Indiana State (4-12) hosts Evansville on Wednesday.
