ST. LOUIS - Maryville junior Ashley Dowden won both her singles and doubles matches last Friday in the Saints' 5-4 win against Emporia State.
Dowden (Helias High School) paired with Sandra Hinterberger to win 6-3 in doubles against Silvana Caceres and Shannen Meyer. In singles play, Dowden won 6-3, 6-0 against Meyer.
During the fall and spring seasons, Dowden is 5-1 in singles play and 6-1 in doubles play.
Maryville (4-3) plays Saturday against Missouri-St. Louis.
