College Golf: Lincoln takes 16th at NSU Classic

MUSKOGEE, Okla. - The Lincoln men's golf team wrapped up the three-round Northeastern State Classic on Tuesday, finishing 16th out of 18 teams at Muskogee Country Club.

Lindenwood finished first with a team score of 831 with Central Missouri and Arkansas Tech finishing in a tie for second with 846 points.

Gabe Trowbridge never shot worse than a 72, shooting a 214 to place tied for 26th to lead the Blue Tigers. Jordan Barnett had a total score of 221 to tie for 60th.

Logan Taylor finished tied for 79th with a 226 and Brayden Watts tied for 87th with a 231 to round out Lincoln's team score of 892.

Brett Trowbridge carded a three-round total of 244 for Lincoln.

Lincoln is back in action Sept. 30 to begin the three-day Central Region Fall Preview at the Hot Springs Country Club in Hot Springs, Ark. Henderson State will host the event.
