HILLSBORO, Mo. - Jefferson College freshman Jason Rackers pitched four no-hit innings Sunday, leading the Vikings to a 15-3 win in five innings against North Central Missouri College.
Rackers (Blair Oaks High School) did not allow a walk and finished with five strikeouts while facing the minimum, improving his season record to 3-1.
In six appearances this season, including five starts, Rackers has a 2.42 ERA with 30 strikeouts and nine walks in 26 innings.
Jefferson College (17-6-1), which swept a four-game series against NCMC, hosts Southwestern Illinois today.
