PEORIA, Ill. - Bradley junior outside hitter Erica Haslag became the 23rd player in program history to reach 800 career kills Saturday in the Braves, 21-25, 25-23, 22-25, 15-25 loss to Illinois-Chicago in the CEFCU Classic.
Haslag (Helias High School) was selected as the best attack of the Classic for Bradley, finishing with 60 kills in three matches. She had 27 kills in the Braves' five-set loss Friday to UIC, then tallied 15 kills in a three-set win against Murray State. Haslag finished with 18 kills in the rematch against UIC.
Haslag had a double-double Friday against UIC, adding 18 digs. It was her sixth-straight match with a double-double.
Bradley (3-7) hosts South Dakota State and UConn on Friday in the CEFCU Invitational.
