College Volleyball: Engelbrecht named to all-tourney team

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - William Woods senior setter Brittney Engelbrecht was named to the Rose-Hulman All-Tournament team Saturday after leading the Owls to a 4-0 record in the two-day tournament.

Engelbrecht (Helias High School) compiled 134 assists in 14 sets in the tournament. She had a weekend-high 38 assists in the Owls' final match, a three-set win against Anderson.

Engelbrechet also had four service aces and 31 digs in the tournament, posting a double-double against Anderson with 11 digs.

William Woods was the only undefeated team at the tournament, picking up wins against Illinois College, Rose-Hulman and Monmouth College.

William Woods outside hitter Tory Wiley (Helias High School) finished with 31 kills at the tournament, tallying 11 kills against Anderson.

William Woods (8-2), which is receiving votes in the NAIA Top 25 poll, hosts Hannibal-LaGrange on Tuesday.
