College Football: Barr throws two TD passes

SIOUX CITY, Iowa - Truman Sate redshirt-sophomore quarterback Jaden Barr tried to mount a second-half comeback for the Bulldogs, but they fell 35-30 on the road against Morningside.

Barr (California High School) finished the game 16-of-31 passing for 239 yards and two second-half passing touchdowns. The first was a 13-yard strike to Jordan Jorgenson midway through the third quarter, while the second was a 20-yard pass to Jordan Salima with 3:08 to play, making it a one-possession game.

Barr had five carries for nine net yards and also threw two interceptions.

Truman State (0-2) hosts Missouri S&T on Saturday for its home opener.
