Nienhueser gets career high

COLUMBIA - Columbia College sophomore forward Mai Nienhueser scored a career-high 17 points Thursday in the Cougars' 95-56 win against St. Louis College of Pharmacy.

Nienhueser (Helias High School) shot 6-of-11 from the field and was 6-of-7 from the free-throw line. She also grabbed eight of the Cougars' 56 rebounds and finished with a team-high five steals.

Junior guard Morgan Brandt (Fatima High School) grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds and scored six points for the Cougars.

Columbia College (4-1), ranked No. 16 in the NAIA Top 25 preseason poll, plays Friday against Shawnee State in the Jackson (Tenn.) Rotary Invitational.
