NEVADA - East Central College freshman Ashley Miller pitched a complete game Saturday, leading the Falcons to their final win of the season by beating Mineral Area College 6-4 in the NJCAA Region XVI Tournament.
Miller (South Callaway High School) allowed four runs on 10 hits and struck out two batters. At the plate, she went 1-for-4 with a single.
In the pitchers' circle, she posted a 7-5 record in 16 appearances and had a 3.56 ERA with 23 strikeouts in 762/3 innings. At the plate, Miller had a .259 batting average (29-for-112) with 16 RBI.
East Central College end the season with a 23-22 record.
