CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Saint Louis senior Hailey Weavers tied a Billiken's single-game record, scoring four runs Saturday in a 20-7 win against Northwestern State at the Frost Classic.
Weavers (Helias High School) went 2-for-3 with three RBI in the win. She hit a leadoff home run in the third inning, her first homer of the season, and added a two-run double in the sixth inning.
In Sunday's 5-2 win against Chattanooga, Weavers hit her second home run of the season, a solo blast in the sixth inning. She is batting .368 (7-for-19) with five RBI and six runs scored.
Saint Louis (6-4) will play UMKC and Missouri State on Saturday at Kansas City in the We Back Pat Tournament.
