College Volleyball: Engelbrecht named All-American

KANSAS CITY - William Woods junior setter Brittney Engelbrecht was named an honorable mention on the NAIA All-America Team on Tuesday.

Engelbrecht (Helias High School) is the fourth William Woods volleyball player to receive all-american honors. She led the Owls with 1,237 assists this season, which ranked 27th in the NAIA. Engelbrecht also had 393 digs, 168 kills and 34 service aces.

In her career, Engelbrecht has 3,893 assists at William Woods and needs 1,245 assists her senior year to break the school's career record.

Engelbrecht also received AVCA-NAIA All-Region honors in the Midwest Region.
