College Cross Country: Lincoln women compete at Jackling Jock Invite

ROLLA - The Lincoln Blue Tigers finished ninth in the women's team standings Saturday at the Missouri S&T Jackling Jock Invitational.

Willomena Williams led the Blue Tigers with a 70th-place finish in a time of 27:20.29. Terri Baptiste finished 77th, followed by Ja'Ianna Williams in 78th place. Shanice Clarke, Tajera Lawkin and Kissi-Ann Brown placed 80th through 82nd to round out the team score.

Missouri S&T sophomore Tori Bonnot (Jefferson City High School) took 61st place with a time of 26:29.

In the men's race, Missouri Southern State junior Tyler Rush (Linn High School) took fourth place out of 80 runners with a time of 25:39.49. The Lions won the team title with 15 points, claiming five of the top six finishers in the race.
