Missouri women beat Wichita State

COLUMBIA - The Missouri women's basketball beat Wichita State 65-57 on Friday at Mizzou Arena.

Senior guard Sierra Michaelis had 14 points, five rebounds and a career-high nine steals. Redshirt senior guard Lianna Doty led the Tigers with 15 points and four assists. Junior forward Bri Porter had 13 points and a team-high eight rebounds and freshman guard Jordan Chavis had 14 points and six rebounds.

Missouri used seven of its eight available players in the win. Sophomore forward Sophie Cunningham missed her second straight game with a back injury, while redshirt junior Kayla McDowell has struggled with a hamstring injury all season.

Missouri (8-3) hosts Tennessee-Martin at 11 a.m. next Saturday.
