Remember Al Gore's global warming hoax? I refer to a Daily Caller 3/16/2015 article by Michael Bastasch: "Gore has made a name for himself sounding the alarm on man-made global warming since the release of his movie "An Inconvenient Truth" in 2006. In the film Gore warned that Pacific Islands were drowning from global warming and polar bears were dying as Arctic sea ice melted off.
In 2008, Gore famously predicted the Arctic would be ice-free by 2013 - a prophecy that never came true." (http://dailycaller.com/2015/03/16/al-gore-tries-to-rebrand-his-global-warming-alarmism/).
I would guess when the liberal wizards of smart discovered there were still polar bears and ice in the Arctic after 2013 they decided to scrap the term "global warming". I assume then they thought they could fool us deplorables better with the term "climate change". I wonder when the scare terminology will move to global cooling? The liberal left has to do something to keep our fears intact in order to keep us under their big government umbrella of protection.
I'm writing this letter on the above subject as an example to emphasize how our citizenry is being manipulated by the liberal media to believe false truths perpetrated by the liberal left (Democrats). The current term for the lies and distortion by the media is "fake news".
Mr. Tony Smith's letter published 11/30: 'What will Trump do?' is, in my opinion, an excellent example of 'fake news'. Although Mr. Smith's letter is only an opinion and not representative of any News Tribune article or opinion, I think it provided the perfect example I have immediately available as to what the liberal press tried to do to Mr. Trump to assist the Democrats in his defeat! Fortunately for our country we voters were not duped by their propaganda and their efforts were proven to be in vain. Now the press, with the lowest trust rating in history, seems to not be 'draining their swamp' and becoming a trustworthy source of news, but rather doubling down on covering Trump as an illegitimate president elect.
Trump has been legally elected! Get over it! You lost!
