The Jefferson City Public Schools Board of Education met briefly Thursday morning to certify the candidate ballot for the April 4 election.

The board approved all seven candidates who filed for the ballot: Lori Massman, Steve Bruce, Scott Hovis, J. Don Salcedo, Joshua Harmon, Paul Graham and Victoria Sterling.

Voters will choose three of the seven candidates to serve as directors on the board for three-year terms.

Bruce is the incumbent board vice president.

The ballot issue questions for the second high school bond issue and operating levy were certified last week after the board approved the ballot language for both at its regular January meeting, said Stephanie Sappenfield, executive assistant to the superintendent and secretary to the board.
