Work will temporarily close Bagnell Dam Friday

Ameren Missouri, which operates Bagnell Dam seen above, has set up a hotline for questions regarding its shoreline management plan at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Ameren Missouri will temporarily close Business Missouri 54 on Bagnell Dam in Miller County on Friday, Dec. 2 to position a crane for a test opening of a flood gate.

According to the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), the road will be closed to traffic between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.Motorists are advised to use alternate routes around the closure.
