Sasha Campbell won three events and set a new school record in the long jump to help lead the Lewis and Clark seventh-grade girls track and field team to eight first-place finishes at the Mid-Missouri Meet on Wednesday.
Campbell was victorious in the 100- and 200-meter dashes, and set a new mark by winning the long jump with a leap of 15-6.50.
Kade Garrett won the shot put and discus to lead the Thomas Jefferson seventh-grade boys team, which tallied seven first-place finishes.
Maleek Jackson was a winner in the 100- and 200-meter dashes to lead the Lewis and Clark boys team, which had four first-place finishes.
