A Jefferson City man has been placed on five years supervised probation for pleading guilty to crimes dating back to last fall.

David C. Wakefield, 18, of 4014 Randall Drive, was charged with three counts of second-degree burglary and one count of felony theft.

He must complete a 120-day shock detention sentence as part of his probation.

Wakefield was charged with breaking into a home in the 700 block of Joseph Drive, near his home, Dec. 12, 2013.

Court documents showed Wakefield entered the home and stole electronic items worth more than $2,600.

Wakefield was also charged for break-ins that occurred on Oct. 28 and Nov. 17, 2013.
