For the first time since 1979, a popular Mid-Missouri band from the '70s and '80s is planning to perform in Jefferson City.
The Jolly Brothers Reunion Band will be at Michigan Place on Michigan Avenue, Saturday, June 21.
Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. Cost is $10 at the door.
Norman Jolly said those coming out will be hearing a lot of their original music along with songs from some of the artists who influenced their music, such as The Allman Brothers, Little Feat and Joe Cocker.
The band is made up of Norman on keyboards, Roger Workman on slide steel, Tim Shields on bass guitar, Gary Signor on drums, and Steve Hawkins on lead guitar.
"The band was born in Jefferson City and we want it to bring back to the people who have supported us from the beginning," Jolly said.
