Dear Editor:
If the Cole County Commission decides to tear down the sheriff's house and former jail, that would be criminal.
The Court House is a very unique structure as it stands today. When the addition was added whoever was in charge did their homework to get it to match the structure.
If you can tear off the addition, replace it with some ugly modern structure, it will look like St. Mary's Health Center, something we don't want.
Please commissioners, think long and hard, don't destroy something that has looked so prestigious over the years.
In today's world you only need room for a chair and a lap-top.
