The Fatima Comets went 1-1 during Friday's portion of the Capital City Invitational.
Fatima opened the tournament with a 15-5 victory against Lee's Summit North.
Leah Kesel picked up the victory. She allowed eight hits and one walk in the complete game.
Kesel also helped out offensively with four hits. Morgan Brandt also had a big game with a pair of home runs.
Logan Abbott added three hits while Erica Fick, Courtney Krieg, Kate Massman and Erin Eichholz all had two hits. Krieg added three RBI.
Fatima dropped its second game 12-1 to Hickman. Kesel took the loss, allowing 10 hits while striking out two. Barnhart and Kesel had two hits each for Fatima, which plays today at 10:30 a.m.
