Calvary wins two

EUGENE - The Calvary Lutheran Lady Lions won varsity and JV matches with the Eugene Lady Eagles on Tuesday night.

In the varsity match, Calvary romped to a 25-19, 25-14 victory.

Rebecca Thompson had 10 service points, including two aces, for the winners. Emily Loethen and Megan Abbott had four kills apiece, Katie Goodin had four blocks, Jessica Stark had six assists and Kara Bernskoetter had five digs.

The Lady Lions are now 6-11-1 on the season.

Calvary took the JV match 22-25, 25-14, 25-22.

Kyra Wiegers had 15 service points, including two aces, and two kills for Calvary (9-1). Ryoko Asakuma added five aces and 10 digs, Brooke Rollins had 11 service points and eight assists, Jenna Fischer had three kills and Kelly Rakow had seven digs.

Calvary will play Thursday at Montgomery County.
