Because of Monday's Veteran's Day observance, most government offices will be closed, including the Missouri state, Cole County and Jefferson City governments.
The Missouri State Archives, in the Kirkpatrick Information Center, 600 W. Main St., also will be closed.
Jefftran buses won't run.
The U.S. Postal Service will operate on its holiday schedule, with no normal route deliveries. Express Mail will be delivered as needed, and collections will follow the holiday schedule.
The Missouri River Regional Library in Cole and Osage counties, and the Heartland Library branch in Eldon, are closed Monday. But the Daniel Boone Regional Library in Boone and Callaway counties will remain open with the usual schedules.
Most financial institutions will be closed Monday.
The holiday won't affect the Republic Waste trash and recycling collection schedule in Jefferson City.
