The Lincoln University softball team will hold its annual summer camp for grades 2-12 on June 3-6.
From June 3-4, the camp will take place at Got Skillz, located at 719 Wicker Lane. On June 5-6, the camp will held at Lincoln Field in Jefferson City.
Each day will be made up of two sessions, with those in grades 2-7 meeting from 8 a.m.-10 a.m. and grades 8-12 meeting from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
The purpose of the camp is to develop fundamentals, as instruction and drill work will assist players in throwing technique and positional play. The camp will also include hitting, short game and baserunning instruction. The camp will also feature instruction using Right View Pro, a video analysis system to analyze each player's swing and identify potential problems. Campers will then be given drills based on Right View Pro's evaluation to use at home.
