Sanders gets custody of his two sons

MCKINNEY, Texas - A Texas jury has awarded Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders primary custody of his two sons pending his divorce.

The Collin County jury also decided the couple will have joint custody of their daughter. The children range from age 9-12.

Sanders, now an NFL Network analyst, fought his wife, Pilar, for full custody of their three children after sharing custody on alternate weeks.

An April scuffle led to an exchange of assault allegations, but a judge ruled neither had committed domestic violence.

The verdicts came Tuesday after about 21⁄2 hours' deliberation following a weeklong hearing in a state district courtroom in McKinney.
