Dear Editor:
I watched President Obama on television a few days ago when he presented his gun control plan to the public.
He had a number of children with him. He was saying to the children and us that he was going to work very hard to protect the children in schools from gun violence.
I did not hear him say that he was burdening each of these children with a liability of $53,000 for their part of the national debt and that he was responsible for most of it. Nor did he tell them that he is going to work hard to increase this liability in the next four years. Not decrease it.
His effort to protect children in schools is questionable at best. Their national debt liability is real. He talks like he is trying to help our children but his borrow-and-spend policies are disastrous for our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Think about it.
