Former Mo. Gov. Holden robbed in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (AP) - Former Missouri Gov. Bob Holden says he was robbed while walking to lunch in downtown St. Louis.

Radio station KMOX reports (http://cbsloc.al/WnSw6i ) that Holden says he was approached Wednesday by a man holding a gas can and asking for help. The former governor says he pulled out his money clip, and the man grabbed it and ran.

St. Louis police say no arrest has been made. It's not known how much cash the thief took.

Holden, a Democrat, served as governor from 2001 to 2005. He now teaches political science classes at Webster University.
