Jefferson City's John Carter has a history of making quick work of his opponents. That trend continued during Saturday's Capital City Invitational.
Carter picked up the Jays' lone title as he pinned Francis Howell North's A.J. Lozada in 24 seconds to take home the title at 285 pounds.
"He's got a lot of height, which gives him an advantage," Jefferson City head coach Phil Cagle said. "Once he can get his underhooks in underneath you and he can lift you up, he can do a lot of different things."
If you were watching Carter's championship match and looked away for a second, you likely missed it.
