The Jefferson City Lady Jays were getting back into it.
Trailing by as many as 20 points in the third quarter, the Lady Jays had cut the deficit to 11 early in the fourth quarter of Friday night's game against the Notre Dame de Sion Storm at Fleming Fieldhouse.
But a bit of bad luck followed by a bad pass pulled the rug out from under the comeback attempt as the Storm defeated the Lady Jays 66-53.
