ST. ELIZABETH, Mo. - St. Elizabeth owned the middle.
The Lady Hornets outscored South Callaway by a combined 19 points in the second and third quarters en route to a 54-37 victory Tuesday night.
After the first quarter ended deadlocked at 11, St. Elizabeth went ahead 30-18 at halftime and took a 42-23 edge into the final quarter.
Savannah Stiles starred with 23 points and Allie Heckemeyer added 15 points and 10 assists. Paige Otto picked up a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
St. Elizabeth (17-7) travels Friday to Calvary Lutheran.
