Sawadee's Thai Cuisine, 103 E. High St., plans to open a new location at 2215 Missouri Blvd., possibly next month.
Owner Preecha Chaya said both locations will serve lunch and dinner, and the new location will have several different menu choices.
The Sawadee's location on High in downtown Jefferson City opened as Chim's in 2009. The name has changed, but the menu has remained the same, focusing on Thai dishes such as pad thai, red curry dishes and crab rangoon, the last of which I can personally vouch for.
The small High Street location does a great business over lunch, but Chaya said the new location is intended to capture dinner-seekers along Missouri Boulevard as well.
