There was no secret what held the key to Saturday's basketball game between the Calvary Lutheran Lions and the St. Paul Lutheran Saints.
The Saints started the two halves with a combined scoring edge of 27-2. Other than that, St. Paul held a slim lead of 20-19 the rest of the way.
Those great starts helped the Saints roll to a convincing 47-21 victory at the Trinity Lutheran gym.
"That's a very, very good team," Calvary coach Mark Buffington said. "That's one of the top ones we've faced this season. I still say Eugene is probably the best team we've played, but (St. Paul) is right there with Russellville and South Callaway and Linn. We don't have anything to be ashamed of."
