A group of Jefferson City residents toured the U.S.S. Jefferson City SSN-759 submarine in San Diego this month.
Commander Brien Dickson invited the group for a "Namesake Cruise" and in return will visit Jefferson City in September and October.
The visit was sponsored by the Jefferson City Submarine Committee, Navy League of the United States, the Missouri National Guard, and Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve.
