LINN - The Linn Wildcats picked up a pair of wins Thursday, beating St. Elizabeth 10-0 in five innings before topping Belle 5-3.
In the opener, Ben Brandt and and Ryan Mantle had two hits and three RBI each to pace the Wildcats. Eathan Hickey chipped in with two hits and one RBI and Cameron Laughline had one hit and one RBI.
Jake Mebruer got the win, striking out seven.
In the nightcap, every Linn played had at least one hit, led by Brandt's two hits.
Alec Shoop got the win in relief, striking out three in 2 2/3 innings of work.
Linn (9-4) will play today at Fatima
