Blue Tigers host Mules

The Lincoln Blue Tigers will host the University of Central Missouri Mules in an MIAA doubleheader today at Lincoln Field.

The twinbill, moved up from Wednesday due to expected poor weather conditions, will start at noon.

Lincoln (3-23 overall, 2-19 MIAA) will be looking to snap a four-game losing streak. The Blue Tigers are hitting .253 as a team, led by Ben Stewart's .341 average.

Central Missouri (24-6, 18-5, ranked No. 7 in Division II) have 10 players hitting .300 or better on the season. Brad Wilson (Helias High School) is third on the team. In 30 games, including 29 starts, Wilson is hitting .370 with three home runs and 37 RBI and an on-base percentage of .489.

The Mules, 13-3 in road games this season, swept a March 19 doubleheader from the Blue Tigers by scores of 11-2 and 6-1 in Warrensburg.
