Jays, Crusaders compete in William Woods Invitational

FULTON - The Jefferson City Jays finished fifth and the Helias Crusaders were sixth in the William Woods Invitational on Thursday.

Rock Bridge won the event with a team total of 312 and was followed in the standings by St. Charles West (325), Hickman (334), Jefferson City (346) and Helias (347).

The medalist for the event was Rock Bridge's Matt Eichelmeier, who carded a 70.

Jefferson City was paced by Gabe Trowbridge, who shot an 84. Also competing for the Jays were Travis Roberts (87), Andrew Hansen (87), David Anderson (88) and Brennen Horn (94).

Helias was led by Brendon Tomblinson, who posted an 82. Also for the Crusaders were Austin Smith (87), Andrew Schaumberg (89), Clay Carroll (89) and Nick Rehagen (94).
