As he pleaded guilty Monday morning to two charges of having sexual contact with a student, former Jefferson City High School band teacher Christopher Knehans told Judge Dan Green he understood pleading guilty blocked his ability to appeal his conviction.
But Knehans' attorney, Jefferson City lawyer Scott Hamblin, made sure during the hearing the official court record continues to recognize Hamblin this month filed a motion to dismiss the charges, even though Green had denied the motion.
