WESTPHALIA, Mo. - Competing in front of a raucous, energized crowd, the Jefferson City and Fatima volleyball teams fed off the energy and kept raising their level of play Monday night.
By the time the match in the steamy gym at Fatima ended, Jefferson City had raised its level just a smidgen higher and emerged with a 20-25, 25-16, 25-20 victory.
"These types of games are fun for the girls," Jefferson City coach Christine Meyer said. "It's fun to do well, it's fun to have to compete, it's fun to have to fight back."
