Walking along Jefferson City's Greenway, Warren Auld became familiar with Wear's Creek.
The food scientist later decided he wanted to combine science with his outdoors interests. So, he sought out the Missouri Department of Conservation's Stream Team.
Now in midst of completing training for water quality monitoring, Auld has surveyed Wear's Creek twice to help coordinate volunteer efforts Saturday at the Second Annual Wear's Creek Cleanup.
