Missouri companies have mixed record in paying back TARP

Four years after Congress approved the TARP program, 28 Missouri institutions borrowing from the federal program have repaid about $191.95 million of the almost $1.006 billion they received - about 19.1 percent of the total.

In most cases, the lack of repayment is not a problem, because the ongoing program has numerous payback dates that have not been reached yet.

Only Calvert Financial Corp. (Mainstreet Bank), Ashland, and The Landrum Company (Landmark Bank), Columbia, received TARP funds in Mid-Missouri.
