Jefferson City High School is celebrating homecoming this year with the theme "Jaypocalypse: Jay Pride Never Dies."
Back-to-back spirit days revved up students' energy levels all week.
Today, the community gathers for the homecoming parade at 6:30 p.m. through downtown Jefferson City, followed by a pep rally at 7:30 p.m. on the north side of the Capitol.
On Friday, the student body will gather for a 1:15 p.m. assembly, followed by the game against Gateway Tech at 7 p.m.
The 2012 Jefferson City High School Homecoming Court includes the queen, Zoe Bednar, daughter of Joe and Jill Bednar, and king, Hughes Lee, son of Yan Li and Hannah Mao.
