MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Seimone Augustus scored 21 points, Maya Moore had 20 and the Minnesota Lynx held off the Seattle Storm 73-72 Tuesday night to advance to the Western Conference finals.

Rebekkah Brunson scored 16 points to help the defending champion Lynx bounce back from a double-overtime loss in Game 2 and win the best-of-3 opening round series. Minnesota will host Los Angeles in the opener of the West finals Thursday night. The Sparks swept San Antonio in their series.

Sue Bird scored 19 points and Camille Little had 17 for Seattle.

The Storm had a chance to win it in the final seconds, but Lauren Jackson's turnaround jumper went off the rim.

Seattle, which won the championship in 2010, lost in the conference semifinals for the seventh time in eight years.

FEVER 75, DREAM 64

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Katie Douglas scored 24 points and Erlana Larkins had 16 points and 20 rebounds to help Indiana beat Atlanta to advance to the Eastern Conference finals.

Tamika Catchings added 16 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks and Briann January also scored 16 points for the Fever, who recovered from a Game 1 loss at home to win the best-of-3 series against the two-time defending Eastern Conference champions.

Indiana will next face Connecticut in the opener of the East finals on Friday night.

Lindsey Harding led Atlanta with 17 points. Angel McCoughtry, the league's scoring leader in the regular season, had 16 points - just two in the second half - and Sancho Lyttle added 10.
