FULTON, Mo. - A national report of comprehensive statistics puts Westminster College first in Missouri and fifth nationwide as the liberal arts college with the most internationally diverse campus by percentage.

Open Doors 2012, a report conducted by the National Institute for International Education released Monday, holds that Westminster's international population makes up 16 percent of the school's student body, tying it for fifth place with Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania. Westminster College had approximately 191 students from other countries enrolled for the 2011-12 school year.

Courtney Richter, director of International Student Services at Westminster, said partnering with the Davis United World College program has bolstered the college's reputation with international students. Westminster's program in 2000 had just 37 foreign students.
