Jays fall 7-0 to Vikings

ST. CHARLES - The only points came in the third quarter.

But the game was decided in the first half.

Jefferson City went 0-for-4 on red-zone possessions in the first half and dropped a 7-0 decision to Francis Howell on Friday night in a Class 6 District 3 semifinal game.

"We were trying to get in the end zone and they're a great defense, but you know, we just weren't able to convert when we got the opportunities," Jefferson City head coach Ted LePage said.

The Jays (7-4) moved the ball up and down the field in the first half, but never could cash in on points.
