The Missouri State Penitentiary (MSP) Redevelopment Commission has unanimously agreed its primary objective is to see the Master Plan completed.

"It does sound silly," said commissioner Gene Bushmann, who made the motion. He referred to a recent Jefferson City News Tribune article quoting City Administrator Nathan Nickolaus calling the MSP Master Plan "dead."

Commissioners agreed modifications may be needed, but the overall priorities of the plan have not changed.
