Lincoln took Northeastern State out of its comfort zone. The RiverHawks entered play this week as the top team in all of NCAA Division II in turnovers, coughing the ball up just 12 times per game. The Blue Tigers forced a whopping 25 turnovers Saturday afternoon.

The Lincoln women's defensive prowess led to a 54-49 victory at Jason Gym.

"We really wanted to pressure them and make them uncomfortable, because that's what we thrive off," Lincoln head coach Nicole Collier said. "I thought we came up with some loose balls, we got some easy layups. Forcing 25 turnovers was huge for us."

Turnovers were the difference at the game's most crucial moments.
