The Jefferson City Convention and Visitors Bureau is seeking entertainers, exhibits and attractions to participate in the SEC-JC Pep Rally from 5-7 p.m. Sept. 7 in downtown Jefferson City.
Entertainment will include musicians and street performers on High Street from Monroe to Washington streets. The bureau is also looking for face painters, tarot card readers/fortune tellers, clowns/balloon artists, magicians, jugglers, stilt walkers, theater performance groups, story tellers, percussion groups, caricaturists, puppeteers, etc.
Entertainment will also include cheer squads, team mascots, sports personalities and autograph station, marching bands and short team presentations.
The rally is part of a three-day celebration which begins with Thursday Night Live and SoupStock, and the Capital JazzFest and Capital Art Chalk Art competition and Labor Day parade.
