Sixty boxes, stuffed with thanks, appreciation and love, were stacked along a 10-foot table, as volunteers gathered a few feet away, writing letters and addressing Customs forms.
The PALS members at Providence Bank were packing the boxes to fulfill the service part of PALS, which stands for privilege, adventure, leisure and service.
Since April, 13 Providence Bank locations - including one in Texas - have been collecting beef jerky, coffee, drinks mixes, hand sanitizer, candy and other items to send to deployed troops.
